Basic Socks on two circular needles:  (Dale Ann)
In this class we will be making socks with 2 circular needles.  No sock making
experience is required.  At the end of the four classes, you will have one
complete sock.

Basic Socks on DPN’s: (Sandy)
Learn to make socks the traditional way with double pointed needles.  You will
have one completed sock by the time you have finished this class. There is
nothing better to wear on your feet than hand knit socks! Watch out they are
addictive to make!

Two Socks at a Time on One Circular Needle: (Laura)
No more lonely only socks in your drawer!  When you knit both socks at the
same time your pair is finished at the same time, on your feet and out the door.
This class is most suitable for those who have already used the magic loop-
but not impossible for others. Not a first sock project.

Toe Up Socks: (Sarah)
Try Socks from the bottom up!  You can tackle this whether you're familiar with
top-down sock construction or if this is your first sock!  Learn "Judy's Magic
Cast On" and choose from a few different heel options.  We will work from
Wendy Johnson's Socks From the Toe Up.  The Toe-up technique is great for
getting the most out of every skein of sock yarn because you can just keep
knitting until you run out!

Honeycomb Sock: (Sarah)
These socks are a lot of fun to make and look much harder than they are! You
will need a solid and a variegated sock yarn with high contrast. Some
homework required.

Seaming: (Bobbie)
Now, the knitting is finished lets learn how to put all the pieces together. Be
sure to complete your homework swatches before class! We will practice a
variety of seams during class. Some Homework required.

Beginning Crochet: (Sandy)
Learn the basics of crochet with this dishcloth/facecloth. (Depending on the
yarn you pick) A worsted weight cotton makes a dishcloth and a linen and you
have a wonderful facecloth.

Regan Vest: (Sandy)
This vest is a fun knit. A great break from garter stitch or stockinette stitch with
its simple knit and purl textured pattern. You will learn how to continue your
pattern stitches while doing basic shaping.

Madly Plaid Vest (Dale Ann)
Are you ready to Steek? This is a quick knit with several interesting
techniques. Crocheted stitches make the plaid pop and the fabric stable for
steeking.

Lace Shawl with a Lifeline: (Laura)
Learn how to put in a lifeline while knitting this pretty lace shawl. You will no
longer worry about frogging (rip it, rip it) it
if you make a mistake.

Flower Fun: (Laurie)
Fabulous flowers to knit and crochet that will add some decorative flair to your
latest project. The class includes 5 to 6 different flowers and leaves that are so
quick to stitch you’ll have a blooming bouquet in no time. Great to use on hats,
scarves, purses or lapels.

Fuchsia Market Bag: (Laurie)
To Market to Market…Noni’s delightful market bag will make that next trip to
the market a treat. What better way to reduce our carbon footprint and have a
great looking shopping bag at the same time. Some homework required.

Lorin Bag: (Laurie)
A medium sized bag with a funky pattern and rich colors. Though knitting Lorin
bag may look difficult, it isn’t. You will find it to be deceptively easy. A great
bag to take to all those fall festivals. Some Homework required.

Strata Ruche Scarf or Stole: (Dale Ann)
Wrap a neck or shoulders in a reversible, drapey, bubbly and cuddly fun! The
look is dramatic, but the knitting is easy. Choose one color or many.

Sampler Scarf: (Bobbie)
Here’s a project to learn some different stitches. This is a great class for
anyone who has taken our beginning knitting class and wants to learn more.
You will learn to follow a simple chart and how to make cables. Any section
would make a nice scarf as well.

BEGINNING KNITTING: Classes are done privately for $10 an hour at your
convenience, please contact us to schedule a time or ask questions

Class Enrollment: We ask that you pre pay for your class. Please check your
calendar carefully before signing up. We will refund your fee if the class is
cancelled due to low enrollment. You may call in with a credit card, send a
check or stop in to pay for a class. You will not be considered enrolled until
you have paid. It is your responsibility to attend all classes in multi session
class. No refund will be given for missed classes.

Class Materials: You receive a 10% discount on class materials. We do
require that you purchase the materials at Yarn Cravin’ for the classes you are
taking. Each instructor has supplied a list of materials needed, as well as any
homework that needs to be completed before your class. Please bring basic
knitting supplies to class. (Scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape
measure, etc.)

Class Cancellation: We will do our best to reschedule classes cancelled due to
poor weather conditions. Please call ahead if the weather is questionable.
